Sometimes you just gotta get outdoors, find a good trail, and hike away the stress of daily life. I get it, which is why I’m bringing you 10 hiking trails that will provide a challenging trek, and some great views to boot! Let’s get started!
The Inca Trail – Peru
Rated as one of the top 5 treks in the world, this gorgeous trail is 26 miles long. It features everything from Inca paving stones, to ruins, tunnels, and incredible mountain scenery.
The South Kaibab Trail – Grand Canyon, Arizona
This hiking trail takes you to an amazing destination at Skeleton Point. Here you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the canyon itself. It is 7.1 miles in length.
The Pacific Crest Trail – United States
This trail spans 2,650 miles fro Mexico to Canada. It passes through California, Oregon, and Washington on the way. Some people travel a few miles, and some go longer. Either way, it offers plenty of varying sights.
Valley of the Ten Peaks – Alberta, Canada
A hike through here affords you some of the most incredible natural lake and mountains views that the world has to offer. You may not be able to leave after a day, so plan to stay a while.
Nā Pali Coast State Park – Hawaii
Just about everywhere you go in Hawaii is beautiful, but this is truly one of the best places to stage your hike. There are hiking trails and hunter’s roads abound to explore in this massive slice of paradise.
Routeburn Track – New Zealand
Routeburn track isn’t something you’ll tackle in a day. That being said, it’s worth every moment for the mountain peaks, valleys, waterfalls, and pristine lakes you’ll get to visit along your trail.
Mononoke Forest – Japan
You can visit this forest by taking a plane or ferry from Kagoshima City. It was used as the inspiration for the famous Japanese Anime, Princess Mononoke and offers an incredibly lush and fantastic forest for you to hike through.
The Talkeetna Mountains – Alaska, U.S.
There are a number of hiking trails for you to choose from here. They range from a few miles, all the way up to 13 miles for the McKinley Overlook & Ski Loop Trail. Enjoy the classic Alaskan views!
Yosemite Grand Traverse – California, U.S.
Known as one of the best trails in the world, Yosemite Grand Traverse is something you’ll spend 8 days and 7 night traveling. It is nearl 60-miles long, so be sure to pack comfortable shoes.
Bay of Fires – Tasmania, Australia
Here you can join a small group for a guided walk around the amazing beaches of Tasmania. Across four days, you will visit coves, beaches, and some luxurious accommodations between your treks.
